I made one of the dishes from a cooking course. I made it Scandinavian Asian.

I was enrolled in this course on 03-05-2026. It was a free course that day.
I made a new version of the mapo tofu.

I made the food as well.
I purchased the products, like ingredients and tools, from several places, some of which are more than 22 years old, like my Swiss knife and pot, which I got from my grandmother. Some are from my kids' father, and some are from IKEA.
The foods are from Netto, Føtex, Lidl, Den Kinesiske Købmand Lyngby, and IKEA.
The wooden spoon is from Københavns Museum, the gift shop.
It was very delicious!
Some warnings!
First of all, I have been trained since childhood to eat spicy foods. So if you are a beginner, do not use so much chilli, like me!
I grew up in Hungary, where we eat the chicken soup much spicier than this chilli can do.
My parents and my grandparents regularly ate very spicy paprika just like natural next to sandwiches...
So if you cannot eat spicy, live it out!
Second, garlic will take down your blood pressure.
If your weight is low, not like mine, which is a pretty high weight, then for you, a maximum of 1 garlic clove is recommended.
Third, if you are a beginner to ginger, again, just use a very, very, very small amount of ginger!
I have been drinking regularly ginger shots for more than a decade.
Tofu is very good, but remember to cook it well! It is important not to overchallenge your cologne system. Usually, for regular weight, the recommended amount of tofu is around 70g per day.
Again, I have a high body weight! Plus, I have a Food Engineer degree, where we studied Food Chemistry, and it was already highlighted for us that it is a must to cook tofu well!!!!
So, when you jump into a new cultural cooking:
- always consider your actual habits, how much they differ from the new cooking! Why? Your body needs time to adjust.
- always consider the amount of spices and powerful plants, how much you have consumed of them, and what is the daily recommendation, plus what is your weight!
- always think about your health condition, what are the critical points, where those plants, herbs used as medicine in the Chinese Naturopathy would change your body reaction...
WHY? Just like in Europe, you don't want to throw down all the kinds of medications in your throat....
Why do I talk like this? I also studied Healthcare and Naturopathy, and it is important to understand that most of the European Healthcare workers have zero knowledge about the Chinese Naturopathy, and they do not consider the effects of the food....
So this amount of tofu, herbs and spices would be enough for two people....
But again, my body weight is much higher, plus I use these things regularly.
Still, for me, it was very delicious, and I feel well after it!
