Karen Blixen: Name Change and the Offering of the Soul

Karen Blixen hid herself under the character Mimi and Denys is her partner or Mimi's partner. Karen Blixen was wondering about the name, she could use to publish her books, finally, she chose the Dinesen. Her idea was that it is connected to Isak, the Abraham's son from Bible. Here the autobiography writer refers to the Hebrew version of the story, as in Islam, the other son is taken to the hills. On the page 56. the name change and transformation is discussed in various ways. Similarities to Sara. Abraham's wife. Karen Blixen also went through an offering and anme change.
