Other About the drinking culture in this video, I think it is very responsible and culturally high-quality.  I had to be in a situation in Hungary, when my table partner poured me far far far far far tooooo much alcohol... it was very disrespectful. The biggest problem is that this person was recommended to me in a highly trusted environment. So finally, I felt that the community also failed horribly. And the person who recommended that table partner to me, she was valued as garbage after that dinner!!!  What to say... the person who recommended me that very bad manner table partner... she ended up with a serious heart operation! And it took her months to...

Taxes in Japan

Image
After watching the video on YouTube, "Rent a Boyfriend" in Japan, I saw that the girl did not follow the strict taxation rules in Japan, and the boy got her...  He wanted to know if he is also a wife or a supported girlfriend, who just happened to be in Japan for Vloging...  Probably she is living with her parents...  Or worked for corporates, who made everything for her...  Source: https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/news/backstories/3669/ I asked Google AI about the taxes in Japan: Taxes in Japan are high and consist of progressive national income tax (5%–45%), a flat 10% local inhabitant's tax, a 2.1% surtax, and mandatory social insurance. Total taxes often exceed 40-50% for high earners . Residents are taxed on global income, while non-residents pay a flat 20.42% on Japan-sourced income. [ 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 ] Key 2026 Tax Components: National Income Tax: Progressive brackets range from 5% to 45%. Up to ¥1.95M: 5% ¥1.95M–¥3.3M: 10% ¥3.3M–¥6.95M: 20%...

Rent a boyfriend in Japan

Image
So today, YouTube recommended a video about this topic. A girl, who is single and has lived in Japan for 6 years, rented a local Japanese boyfriend for a few hours.  It was 11 000 Japanese Jen for one hour, that is around 440dkk. So a hairdresser earns better in Denmark. Or not! Why? He said in the last hour that he can make an extra one hour as a date service, but the girl gave him only 10 000 Jen, and he explained that he needs the true hours price, so 11 000 Jen as he pays taxes.  Nah, the Aussie-German girl living in Japan for 6 years, first she hid this information, and they ran the video recording in English. Then, in the restaurant, she started to use Japanese. Her main focus was the anime movies and some teenage series, I believe, as this guy did not remember those cultural things. So, living in Japan for 6 years, speaking Japanese with a very good accent, the cultural connection was not fully clicked. Of course, you can see that the video quality jumped higher a...

Wok

Image
So during this week, I finished a cooking course, and I purchased a wok.  When in Hungary, I went to Pad Thai restaurants, where they always had an open kitchen, and I could see how they season the wok.  So the wok from IKEA looked pretty, and I liked it, but it started to show some rust. That I cleaned out, but the second time, it was a bit rusty again. So I started to ask Google AI, why did it happen. And the reason was that it was not prepared well enough... So I checked out a video.  How to restore a rusted wok? I also study jewellery making, so heating up metals sounds exciting. I was looking for the blue color change in my wok. It happened on the bottom, but not on the side! It requires fire to make the full color change everywhere.  Nah, I tried it on an external heater, but it was not fully what I wanted. So I looked for more videos. I must do it more often, just like in jewellery making, 5-6 times, till the oil burns into...  Yep. This video is al...
