Wok
So during this week, I finished a cooking course, and I purchased a wok.
When in Hungary, I went to Pad Thai restaurants, where they always had an open kitchen, and I could see how they season the wok.
So the wok from IKEA looked pretty, and I liked it, but it started to show some rust.
That I cleaned out, but the second time, it was a bit rusty again.
So I started to ask Google AI, why did it happen.
And the reason was that it was not prepared well enough...
So I checked out a video.
How to restore a rusted wok?
I also study jewellery making, so heating up metals sounds exciting. I was looking for the blue color change in my wok.
It happened on the bottom, but not on the side!
It requires fire to make the full color change everywhere.
Nah, I tried it on an external heater, but it was not fully what I wanted.
So I looked for more videos.
I must do it more often, just like in jewellery making, 5-6 times, till the oil burns into...
Yep.
This video is also very interesting. Although my wok was never this rusty, I had only very, very small dots.
