Done! 2. recipe - Pumpkin soup

輕鬆學烹飪 Easy-to-learn cooking

I was enrolled in this course on 03-05-2026. It was a free course that day.

It is a very important point!

Why?

I ate my first very interesting pumpkin soup in Hungary, in the Tokaj wine region, in Tolcsva, in a French restaurant called Restaurant Ős Kaján. It was in the autumn of 2008, and the chef was from France.

It was the time when I saw the movie for the first time

That was the point, when in my head, France, Hungary, Asia, and cooking were connected.

In this recipe, flour is used to make it more concentrated. I usually prefer to add a few potatoes instead of the flour.

Nah, here I would like to mention the different types of mushrooms used in Asian cooking.
In this video, the champion maschroom was used, but a lot of different mushrooms are available in Scandinavia. It is very important to buy only a well-checked one! Not every place has a proper quality controller! Once, I nearly died from mushroom poisoning in Denmark in 2024!!!

Plus, when you buy mushrooms, always learn about the cooking method. Some mushrooms must get a certain amount of heat treatment to be safe!!!

It is not a joke!

I trusted the place, and they were not checked well!
And then the healthcare service was also just laughing at me when I called them...
Only, when I attached the photos then they start to panic!!!!!

Very, very bad: quality check and health care!
So mushrooms are not a joke!

So, only in well-checked places, I recommend you to buy mushrooms, shops, where they have the products in boxes, not in open markets, never in bulk in Denmark! Buy only from stores!

Why? They just mixed together different kinds of mushrooms that were similar in appearance...

So, in English it is called champignon, which is used in this recipe, and it is pretty safe.
